Sam Sandler entered this world on Jan 7, 1970, whether this world was ready for him or not! Raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Sam discovered at a young age he had a gift to entertain and make people laugh. Lucky enough to have help in the form of a retiring clown bequeathing his props to Sam, he began to pursue magic vigorously after high school.

This led him to meet world-renowned illusionist Toby Travis in 1989, and had the amazing opportunity to tour with Toby throughout the United States. In his travels, Sam learned many of the secrets to putting on a professional stage show. At the completion of the tours Sam set out to design his own show.  He wanted a show like no other, and now Sam has been making magic history with the 2nd greatest show on earth---ok maybe the 3rd, for over 2 decades.

Sam’s other feat is becoming the only full-time Deaf magician/ illusionist in the United States. In his early 30s, a genetic disease called Progressive Hearing Loss, took his hearing and in 2009 his hearing disappeared outright. This doesn’t stop Sam at all, as his performing and shows take him all over the US and he regularly appears on network television, performs on live shows, and travels the world.

Sam has performed over 4,000 live shows including an eight-week run at the Tropicana Casino and Resort (Atlantic City). He now appears regularly at the Academy of Music (Philadelphia), and recently performed on Network TV. Sam has also performed throughout the country and abroad. Sam teaches magic at several performing arts camps, including the Julian Krinsty camps and programs. Sam has developed educational programs such as "self-esteem" and "Literacy" programs that have played in hundreds of schools and after-school programs. Sam is a great communicator and this has helped him in teaching thousands of children and adults magic, juggling, clowning, and entertaining. Sam also has developed many church programs, and has been asked to lecture and perform for his peers at many magic conventions and for the Society of Young Magicians.
                                                                                                                                  
These days you will find Sam and his assistant, Christine, traveling around the country from Montana to Puerto Rico and everywhere in between. He presents several versions of his spectacular full stage show REALITY & ILLUSION, with 90 minutes of hilarious comedy, jaw-dropping illusions, outstanding comedy, special effects, outstanding comedy, audience participation and of course outstanding comedy. Through his radio, television, and many live appearances Sam has enthralled millions.

Another magical facet to Sam is being a full-time single dad to his 11 year-old daughter Tessa. His daughter Tessa is the first girl on Sam's side of the family in over 100 years.    (It took a magician!). Sam cannot imagine a day without his daughter, who he loves forever and a day. Sam and his beautiful daughter reside in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
